Phoenix Suns Dancers auditions set for August 1 in Scottsdale
Interested dancers are encouraged to attend prep classes beginning June 29
The Phoenix Suns will host auditions for the 2015-16 Suns Dancers beginning Sat., Aug. 1 at Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale. Those possessing the skill and enthusiasm to become a member of the 2015-16 Suns Dancers are encouraged to attend prep classes being held throughout the summer at US Airways Center, beginning on Monday, June 29. A full schedule of prep classes is below.

Each prep class will take candidates through a mock audition and will cover everything they need to know prior to 2015-16 Suns Dancers auditions in August. The class will consist of a group warm-up, a 30-minute workout, a sideline and choreographed routine taught by a current Suns Dancer or guest choreographer, a freestyle practice, and discussions covering fitness, nutrition, appearance, headshots and resume writing.
Candidates can register for prep classes at Suns.com/prep. Each prep class is $25 per participant, with cash payment to be collected upon arrival. Candidates are required to bring their own dance attire and shoes with non-marking soles. Dancers must be 17 years or older to participate in a prep class (those who are 17 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian).
All prep classes are from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. (excluding the class on July 7) with registration beginning a half-hour prior to the start of the class. Participants should arrive on time as doors will close promptly at the start of each class.
